Duration: 12 to 14 days

Are you already PADI Divemaster and do you want to continue your dive career and take the next step? Then it's time to start your Padi Instructor Development Course (IDC). The IDC consists of two sections, the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course will give you the knowledge to teach and manage divers through all courses.

What will you learn during the Course?
The AI education will be applied during the OWSI course and a mixture of new knowledge and development of teaching in confined water and open water.

You will also be taught how to conduct programs and instructor courses, as well as managing and sales training in order to market and promote courses. Business and management will be covered too, this assists you with the expected PADI standards and principles that should be applied.



  • PADI Divemaster, PADI Assistant Instructor or equivalent dive instructor from another training agency
  • Total of 100 recorded dives including night, deep and navigation experience
  • Diver certified for 6 months
  • Medical diving license in the last 12 months
  • EFR or equivalent in the last 24 months
  • Minimum age 18 years

The course will be conducted in Hurghada by course director Mustafa Alsayyad.

Mustafa is the first Egyptian PADI Course Director graduated from PADI America, California, in 1991. He has been continually teaching IDC's (27 years experience as a PADI Course Director) in Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, Marsa Alam, Nueiba, Red Sea, Egypt, KSA, Qatar, Morocco, Kuwait, Jordan and other countries.
